Working with Emily I’m always amazed at how many drills gymnasts have to emphasis this position. I guess this is why the crossover from gymnastics to Crossfit is so easy for most of them. They already have the fundamental positions so dialed in it is natural for them to lock in and stay in the correct position. Today we are going to look at a gymnasts version of an inchworm:
This is going to be very similar to a regular inchworm, but instead of going out only to a pushup position we are going to go down as far as possible in a hollow/plank position, the goal being to get your forearms on the ground and hold for 5 seconds before walking your feet back up.
