Today I am going to refer you guys back to one of my earlier posts about HSPU showing the common mistakes with many crossfitters. Since the open announced the max effort HS walk, multiple people have reached out for advice on how to fix their HS and HS walks in the matter of weeks. (What happened to practicing your weaknesses??
There are a few things that are a must with correct HS walks. 1) Active shoulders 2) Engage your glutes 3) Engage your abdominals
If you have not been doing these things, you will immediately notice a difference. Start off on the wall to allow yourself to accomplish these positions first. Once your are comfortable with this, then take it to the open floor.
