Jessie Stemo
Jessie Stemo is the CEO and Head Coach of Power and Grace Performance. She is passionate about the sport of weightlifting and about the future of our team. Since the start of her coaching journey in 2016, Jessie has been the driving force behind our Coach Development & Data-Driven Programming initiative. She is passionate about program efficacy and exercise selection; as well as athlete care and development. Jessie upholds Power and Grace’s culture and programming standards, ensuring excellence across the coaching team. She loves coaching and seeing the team grow, connect, and succeed.
Jessie Stemo has been weightlifting since 2014, and coaching since 2016. Joining our team from the Olympic Training Center, she is proud to have represented Team USA internationally more than 10 times. Jessie’s passion for coaching stems from her love for the sport and dedication to helping athletes reach their fullest potential, fostering an environment where they can pursue and achieve personal excellence.
Jessie and her husband live in Milwaukee, WI. She loves to spend her free time with their greyhounds, having game nights with friends, or finding the next best local dine.
Grace Jenkins
Grace Jenkins is the Director of Operations for Power and Grace Performance. Grace oversees the behind the scenes work for day-to-day operations at P&G. Though only having been around the sport, and our team, for the last 5 years- Grace has learned to love the sport quickly, and is invested in cultivating growth for our team. Her fresh eyes give her a unique perspective, and she’s loved learning about the sport’s history in pursuit of future excellence.
While Grace is the face behind-the-screen, she has a fervor for people. She loves to meet new people, interact with athletes, and cheer them on as they rise to the occasion and reach their full potential.
Grace is a resident of Northeast Georgia, and in her free time you can find her in a local coffee shop catching up with friends.
Adam Hill
Adam Hill is specialized in continuing education initiatives and athletic development. Serving as the Program Coordinator and a coach for Power and Grace Performance, Adam blends his passion for weightlifting with his expertise in managing projects for P&G. From organizing continuing education opportunities and working closely with the weightlifting community to supporting athletes in achieving their goals, Adam thrives on facilitating success through planning and execution.
With a knack for connecting and collaborating with coaches, Adam drives initiatives that improve programming and elevate performance for coaches and athletes alike. Known as everyone’s biggest fan, he is deeply invested in the weightlifting community.
Based in Decatur, Alabama, Adam balances his professional pursuits with quality time spent with his family. When he’s not coaching or collaborating with other coaches, he enjoys working on his car, grilling steaks, and chilling with friends.
Angela Skarpelis
Angela is a Coach for Power and Grace Performance. Angela is a part of our HQ lifting community. Angela has a Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning.
Angela values culture, family, and art. She’s an extreme coffee lover and has great taste in music. Ask her for a playlist recommendation next time you see her!
David Ogle
David Ogle is a Coach for Power & Grace Performance, and the steam in the engine of Power & Grace Canada. David is also a National and International Coach for Team Canada. David has been coaching weightlifters since 2012, attending his first international meet as a coach in 2021. Since 2021, he has traveled all over the world to support his athletes and many Canadian athletes outside of the P&G sphere- concluding the Paris 2024 quad as a Head Coach for Team Canada at the Paris 2024, coaching Maude Charron at the Olympic Games in Paris and winning Silver. He has coached at Pan American Championships, Commonwealth Championships, Senior and Junior World Championships, Pan American Games, and the Olympic Games.
By day David is the Managing Director of a management consulting firm based in Vancouver, BC. With a Masters degree in Applied Neuroscience, David uses his background in organizational leadership and expertise in brain science to help build Brain-Built solutions for businesses as they grow. David is our favourite (even with the extra “u”), fun Canadian uncle, a cat guy (IYKYK), and our resident brain nerd. He loves being a part of an athlete’s journey, watching them accomplish things they never thought they might be capable of, both inside and outside of our sport.
David and his wife are residents of the Vancouver area. His bubbly personality and on-the-nose humour always keeps us guessing!
Jordan Fielder
Jordan Fielder is a Coach for Power and Grace Performance. Jordan loves coaching people that are passionate and driven. She is excited about being able to help people achieve the goals they set for themselves.
Jordan switched to private coaching after 6 years in collegiate strength and conditioning. She spends her time riding horses, sipping americanos, and participating in all the outdoor activities she can.
Morghan King
Morghan King is a Coach for Power and Grace Performance. Morghan loves the community at Power and Grace, and has loved watching athletes grow in the sport. In order to stay rooted in the community, she has chosen to coach the next wave of athletes.
Morghan is a decorated weightlifter and record holder. She has represented Team USA both nationally and internationally numerous times, and is a 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympian.
Morghan is Power and Grace’s resident glitter technician, meaning that she takes the sparkle everywhere she goes. She loves to cook, paint, read, and bask at the beautiful California sunsets.
Maddisen Mohnsen
Maddisen Mohnsen is a Coach for Power and Grace Performance. Maddisen has both competed and coached as part of our team. Maddisen uses his experience as an athlete and a coach to help his athletes reach their goals. He loves to see athletes develop as people and as athletes through their connection with a barbell.
Maddisen helps our team keep things light, and if you know Maddisen you know he’s always carrying a joke in his back pocket! Maddisen currently resides in Fort Liberty, North Carolina where he serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the 20th Engineers Brigade.
