Not everything in my life revolves around being in the gym, but here’s an example of one of the many things I do outside the gym to remain active. (Mostly this is simply to make everyone laugh today). As you can see there is not a lot of body awareness in this video. This was obviously before I started any work on making a conscious effort to stay connected ;). Just to be fair, most people that barefoot ski, wear a barefoot suit to maneuver around on top of the water. Me, being ornery, and already able to barefoot ski, didn’t care at the time that I didn’t have the barefoot suit… Here is the aftermath: (watch until the end :))
Skill post workout: 3x max effort handstand hold.
-Use the wall if needed. If so, I want perfect positioning with everything connected from your hands to your toes
-Freestanding: If you can do consecutive sets that allow you to work to fatigue the do so. If not, do half free standing, half using the wall as assistance!
