It seems as though ever since the OC Throwdown programmed free standing HSPU, Crossfit athletes from coast to coast have made it a goal to achieve this skill.
I’ve stated time and time again that if the foundation of your movements are not perfect and efficient, the sport is only going to become harder for you.ย The HSPU I mention above is not so much about the strength to get off your head, but about hitting a perfect tri-pod position and shooting up into a perfectly connected handstand hold.
Today let’s focus on:
3×30 sec tripod hold, if you can’t do it unassisted, practice against the wall
3X ME Handstand Hold with no assistance.
Practice PERFECT positions.
