The video above shows the carry over of the hollow/arch position when on the pull-up bar. Doing pull-ups in this position is very beneficial for multiple reasons but today I only want you to think about the two below:
1) You have more control (as displayed in the video). Using your body as “one” is a lot easier then flailing your body around in an uncontrolled fashion. Yes, many cross fitters have became really consistent with that…..but they could be better and most likely have fewer injuries.
2) This directly impacts your bar muscle ups and ring muscle ups. I want this exact starting position for all of your movements on the bar….(sense a common them yet??)

Tabata L-sit while hanging on the pull-up bar. Be sure to concentrate on active shoulders! (you are going to see many variations of L-Sit skill work in the future ;))
