People often ask me why I like to spend 10-12 weeks during every cycle working positions and light to hang out at lighter percentages. The answer is simple: perfection of movement. What that means for you as an athlete however is that you need to be intentional to enforce and focus on perfect movement down to the minuscule detail when working light percentages. That focus and intentionality will pay dividends in made lifts later and good habits formed now.
