It was a really busy Saturday for team Power and Grace. We had our first movement camp in Boerne, Texas with Mike and Emily. Thanks Hill Country Crossfit for having us out!
Jill Thornton took on the Showdown On The Square in Gainesville, GA and grabbed the second spot on the podium narrowly missing a 195 clean on the ladder.
Braxton and Derek participated in their first weightlifting meet and snagged a couple of gold medals for themselves.
Cherisse Kellemen also participated in her first weightlifting grabbing a second place finish, qualifying for the American Open, AND crushing this 83kg CJ to secure the silver medal and her qualifying total.

I decided to pick up a heavy barbell again after not really training (except for eating) since Nationals and surprised myself with this 127kg Snatch amidst the biggest lifting session I have ever been a part of to date (42 lifters in the session).
