If you follow us on Facebook and Instagram, you may have noticed that we love cooking with Kodiak Cake mixes.
They have made it so much easier to make healthier versions of our favorite foods. We like to add extra flavor by adding cinnamon and vanilla.
Make with milk instead of water to boost the protein content.
Recipe: 1:1 ratio of mix to milk
1 cup of low-fat milk
1 cup of Kodiak Cake mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground vanilla or vanilla extract
*Optional – add 1 cup of fruit (blueberries, raspberries, bananas, strawberries)
Macros for 1 4” pancake or waffle: 30 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams fat, 15 grams protein
