Sorry for the late post. I spent the better part of the day getting the new gym ready with the boys at CrossFit Deep Ellum. Seems a bit bittersweet knowing that I will get to enjoy it for only a small amount of time. With that being said it’s going to be one killer facility.
However, this morning I did have the opportunity to read an excellent article from Bob Takano. If you have not taken notice of coach Takano then you likely should open your eyes. He continues to put out credible and useful information to the weightlifting world on a regular basis. He’s an excellent coach and an excellent blogger. Take a look at what he says to young coaches who are approaching their first or one of their first meets from the coaching end. A lot of what he states in this article should be heard loud and clear from guys or girls who are coaching relatively new athletes for the first time. Take a look.
