With the upcoming jerk emphasis in the weightlifting program, I am going to be introducing some different core exercises as well as some different jerk exercises we have not done before. This one is called a jerk dip to split. I’m sure there are 1000 different names out there and nobody can actually find the person who originated the exercise so therefore my name is just as legitimate as anybody else’s. (Deal with it) Check the demo video below. It’s a very simple movement but one that will be extremely good for fast, precise footwork and staying upright with your torso in the catch position for the jerk.
