The Texas State championship is underway. We had quite an adventure getting set up last night but are smooth sailing now. The 18 wheeler that delivered all of our equipment got stuck trying to get in and out of the loading dock amongst many other challenges.
That’s the beauty of weightlifting meets you can expect for them to have complications. The bigger the meet the bigger the complication. Ultimately though what matters most is that with lifters step on a platform, make totals, and walk away smiling. 
I can’t thank American barbell enough for sponsoring this event and providing all of the equipment. If you have not checked them out you need to do so. Some of the better bars I have ever put my hands on and their competition weights may be untouchable as far as quality. Yes including Eleiko. We are halfway through day one and have already seen some pretty killer performances. More to come…
