This weekend, the Olympic training Center hosted a 13 and under and 15 and under international competition. It featured some the best lifters in those age categories from our country as well as some select international lifters. Combined with Peak Performance Weightlifting and Team Georgia Weightlifting, we sent four different lifters to the competition. Thomas Gallant went representing Power and Grace. Tre Luttrell was Thomas’s training partner for the week while he was up there. Tre is the son of level five international coach and personal friend of mine Stan Luttrell. Tre represented Team Georgia at the competition and trained at Crossfit Gwinnett with me in the weeks prepping for the competition.
Competing in the U13 Competition was Jackson Ramey and David Anderson. Both represented Peak Performance Weightlifting with Caleb Williams and train with me every week.
The results were awesome. Jackson walked away with a gold medal and 3 new American records smoking a 108kg CJ (video below). David took silver overall with a 60kg CJ (video below). Tre took gold in the snatch with a 78kg snatch (video below), silver in the CJ with 93 (video below), and silver overall with 171kg. Thomas took silver in the snatch at 75kg (video below), gold in CJ at 100kg (video below), and gold overall with a 175kg total.
Congrats to all four of you. Awesome performances!
